there were moments where he just wanted to throw her down on the bed and pound her pussy hard, but he couldn’t. Jake was practically invisible to Sienna, there was no sexual tension, well, on her part anyway and all he wanted to do, was to tell Sienna how he truly felt about her. But at the same time, he was terrified of losing his best friend.
After he dressed, he grabbed his guitar from his room, placed it over his shoulders, and sat down at the table. Sienna dished up the bacon and eggs then sat down beside him.
“Are you all set for the gig?” She asked.
“We’re as ready as we can be, I guess. We’ve been practicing every night for the past two months. If we’re not ready now, then I guess we never will be.”
He ate his breakfast, barely looking at Sienna.
    “Nervous?” Sienna asked.
“A little, I mean, this is our first concert.”
“Yeah, but singing and playing the guitar is your life Jake, doesn’t it all come naturally by now?”
“It does, but this is different. This is a big deal for the band and I. Tori is lucky because she comes from a musical family. Both her parents were singers and her brother and sister both played the drums and the guitar, I never had any of that, I was self-trained.”
“You really need to stop stressing, you’ll be fine and you’ll be amazing. I know you will.”
The two of them slowly finished their meals, Jake sat down on the sofa and tuned his guitar while Sienna washed up.
“So does this mean I get to hear the new song, tonight?”
“Yes!” Jake yelled from the sofa and Sienna let out a loud “Finally!” from the kitchen.
“By the way, how come you never asked Tori’s brother or sister to be in the band?”
“Oh, we did, but they said that they were no longer interested in performing full time. They had already been performing for years and by the time we started up the band, they just didn’t have the heart to do it anymore.”
Jake’s cell phone rang; “Hey, Tori!” he answered, as Sienna put the last of the dishes away. “Yeah, I’m ready now,” Sienna grabbed her bag and pulled out her cell, checking for any messages. “Okay, thanks, I’ll see you soon.” He removed the guitar from around his neck, placed it in its case and grabbed the rest of his gear from the bedroom.
“Was that the band?” Sienna called.
“Yeah, they are on their way.”
“But the benefit doesn’t start until seven p.m., and it’s only eleven a.m.,” she said, looking at her watch.
“I know,” he emerged from the bedroom and placed the amplifier and guitar by the front door, “but we need to get down to the venue so that we can do a sound and lighting check and go through the songs one more time.”
He finished talking and walked hastily to the bathroom, he grabbed a wad of gel and spread it evenly through his hair, spiking it. He splashed on his expensive Hugo Boss aftershave, cleaned his teeth and headed back out into the living room.
“Oh! Wow! You scrub up nicely,” Sienna said, “Oh wait,” she walked over to him and fiddled with his hair, “there, that’s better.”
    “Thanks,” he said and smiled.
    “New cologne?”
    “Yeah. You like?”
“Yeah, I do actually, you smell really nice.”
Jake smiled as he heard a car horn downstairs.”
“That’s the guys,” he said, picking up his guitar and amplifier.
    “Do you need a hand?”
“Nah, thanks. I guess I’ll see you there, then?”
“Yep. I’m about to text Ivy now, we’re going to hang out until it’s time to leave.”
“Ok.” Jake opened the door and stepped outside, “Oh, Jake?” Sienna called, running towards him, she leaned forward and kissed him on the cheek, “Break a leg.” Jake smiled at her, he couldn’t control the redness that had suddenly swept across his face. “See you later.”
He closed the door and made his way downstairs, Sienna could hear their voices and the sound of a car engine. She looked out the window and watched as the black Jeep
