forward and grabbed the mic, Lance moved from his drums to the piano while Jake continued on the guitar.
Jake grabbed the microphone and started singing. Sienna and Ivy stared at the stage and the audience remained quiet. The words were amazing, powerful and meaningful, like it had been written from the heart.
Tori joined Jake on the microphone while the rest of the band joined in the chorus. Sienna looked around, the entire audience was fixed to the stage, completely speechless. As they all sat there and listened, Sienna couldn't help but get into the moment, and she became slightly teary eyed. She could tell that Jake and the band had really poured their heart and soul into this song. It was no wonder he didn't want her to hear it before now, he wanted a genuine reaction.
The band finished the song and there was a roar of applause from the audience as they stood up and gave the band a standing ovation. Sienna wiped the tears from her eyes as she winked and smiled at Jake. Ivy placed her fingers in her mouth and whistled loudly. The band took a step forward and bowed, as the audience continued to chant and applaud.
Within about fifteen minutes the entire complex was almost completely empty except for a few people who were hanging around and chatting with the band. One of the guys that Sienna had been dancing with all night caught her attention. He called her towards him and she obliged, leaving Ivy stranded in the middle of the room.
“I never caught your name?” he asked.
    “Sienna,” she replied.
“Sienna, I’m Jesse,” he leaned forward and pulled her in for a kiss. Ivy stared at the stage, she watched as Jake gathered his things and made his way down towards Sienna. “I guess I will see you at home, then?” she laughed, as Jesse tickled her neck. Jake nodded, he grabbed his equipment and made his way to the stage door. Ivy’s eyes lit up, she quickly walked over to Sienna and nudged her on the shoulder, almost pushing her over.
“Oh! Jake, you know Ivy, yeah?” he response was sarcastic, clearly. He had known Ivy almost as long as he had known Sienna.
“Yes, Sienna,” Jake threw her a smile and she blushed, just as she had done earlier. “Hi, Ivy,” he said.
“H-Hi,” Ivy stuttered, feeling slightly embarrassed.
“Ivy’s going to spend the night, I hope you don’t mind,” Sienna asked.
“No, not at all. I’m actually pretty tired, so when we get home I might just crash and go to bed.”
“Do you have a car?” Sienna asked Jesse.
“No! I caught the train,” he replied, tickling her neck once more.
    “Perfect, so did we.”
They exited the building, Jake loaded his equipment into the trunk of the Jeep while Sienna, Ivy and Jesse walked to the subway. Sienna and Jesse couldn’t keep their hands off each other the entire journey home. Ivy felt very awkward sitting next to them, but she couldn’t move to another seat because the carriage was completely full. She leaned back and put her headphones in her ears, she let her eyes close as she thought about Jake and how incredibly perfect he was.
The train came to a stop some forty-five minutes later. The three of them stepped off and headed home. Once again, Ivy was left on her own while Sienna and Jesse tagged along behind, giggling. Sienna had no trouble picking up guys, that was certain, she even brought them home and let them stay the night.
When they arrived at the apartment, Jake had only just arrived home. He placed his equipment in his room and changed out of his clothes. Ivy changed into her boxers and a Tee, and made herself comfortable on the sofa bed. Sienna and Jesse poured some wine and then made their way to the bedroom. Jake walked out of his room in his boxers, Ivy looked up and her eyes wandered over his bare chest. She blushed and quickly turned around, hoping that he hadn’t noticed.
“I’m sorry about Sienna, she…tends to get a little carried away whenever she has a man over,” Jake said.
    “Oh,
