obliged, but
she had to fuck him in order for him to come up off the cash. Without blinking,
Gerald agreed and didn’t even consult with Ava to see how she felt. That night
they fought, but Ava stuck around for four more months despite the sex pawning
arrangement Gerald often placed her in. When times were good, Gerald bought her
nice things and helped her pay for college, but then he got caught up in his own
product. He made the biggest mistake a dealer could make and that was to use
his own drugs. That was the closest she ever got to having a pimp run her body and she was never going to let it happen again.
    Hearing her cell ring, Ava
noticed it was her Google number receiving a call. She loved Google Voice. At
one time she had to carry two phones to keep her life and business separate,
but now she was able to merge the two without the lines crossing. The name
flashing on the screen was Drew and Ava groaned.
She forgot she had reached out to
him to ask him if he could help her make her rent this month. The man still
looked after her from time to time, but now she was good after taking the party
at Ricky’s house.
Ava let the call go to voicemail
and continued on to her shower. Besides, there was no way she could fuck Drew
in the next few days without him sensing a dick as big as his was up inside her
pussy. She grabbed a vinegar douche from under the bathroom sink and thought
she’d test the theory a friend told her to see if vinegar douches really did
help return a pussy back to its usual size after its been pleasured by a big
dick.

“Is this seat taken?” she heard a
voice ask above her.
Ava glanced up at the handsome
stranger wanting to reply with a rude remark for his played out line, but his
debonair face robbed her of those thoughts. She glanced around and noticed the
café was in fact busy and there were very few available seats.
“Go ahead.” She returned to her
reading and chose to ignore him.
    “Grisham?”
Ava rolled her eyes. His good
looks were not enough to forgive him for interrupting her private time. “Yes.”
“He’s one of my favorite authors,
too.”
    Ava groaned. This guy wasn’t
going to let up. All she wanted to do was sit and enjoy the nice day that snuck
up in the midst of the cold weather. She only had an hour before her class was
to start and Ava hated to be late.
When Ava closed her book and took
one more look at the man, that’s when she noticed he was not your average
brother in a cheap suit. She recognized the watch, the tie and even his well-groomed
skin.
    Money.
Sensing now was not the time to
be rude to a potential customer, Ava put a brilliant
smile on her face and then asked smoothly, “What did you think of The Racketeer ?”
Ava wanted to curse him, but then
he flashed his smile. “I haven’t had a chance to read it yet, so don’t spoil it
for me.”
He reached out to shake her hand.
“Trent Campbell.”
    “I’m Ava. I haven’t had a chance
to read it either.”
He realized she was not going to
share any more than just her first name.
“You come in here this time every
week.”
    Ava raised her perfectly arched
brow. “Are you a stalker or a fan?”
His laugh was sexy and made her
stomach tingle. “I have a client in that office across the street. I come in
here from time to time. We’re wrapping up our work there so I thought I needed
to bite the bullet and introduce myself. I have wanted to say something to you
for quite some time now.”
    Ava returned his smile, but
reached for her backpack. “It was nice meeting you, too. Gotta get to class.”
She knew he was watching her as
she walked away. When Ava walked along the window outside toward class, she saw
him out the corner of her eye, as he didn’t let her out his line of vision
until she crossed the street.

Ava took the paper from Professor
Howard and noticed the grade he gave her. She expected at least a B, but the
jerk gave her a D.
“See me after class,” he said
before
