    Sighing, Jared knew Tommy was right.
    “We will continue this conversation.” Rene straightened her stature, sitting upright and proper.

    “So you’re aliens? Like from Mexico? Canada?”
    “No, Uranus,” Tommy answered.

    “How’d you get your names? Jared and Tommy are rather normal names.
    Shouldn’t you be called Pla-booger-345 or something weird?” Shaking his head, Tommy put a hand on his hip and explained. “We picked names more common to blend in.”
    “Okay, I’ll bite. What’re your real names?” Rene was following along with what she thought was a charade.
    Waving his hands on either side of his head Tommy answered, “You really don’t want to know. They just gave us numbers because we were cloned. Sort of like your Social Security system over here on Earth. We’re just numbers. Nothing special.”
    “I know the feeling. Working in big business and trying to make it in this rat race makes you feel like nothing more then a drone.” Rene sipped her coffee. “So where’d you get your names then?”
    “I picked them.” Tommy smiled ear to ear, giddy with himself.

    “Ever hear of soap operas? He picked names from one of those,” Jared answered.
    “I was addicted to them. Those shows suck you in and right when you get to a climactic scene…they cut to a commercial.”
    “That’s the story of my sex life. Just when it gets good, the guy needs a commercial break.” Rene slumped into her chair.
    “We’ll have to remedy that,” Jared said the right thing, again.
