hands. “You know what the fuck a baby needs with a God damn wardrobe? It’s a baby!” Chuckling, I sit in the chair across from him. “No, I sure as shit don’t. Maybe it’s some kind of girly shit.” Creed huffs as he shakes his head. “How much longer till we meet junior?” Creed’s eyes come to rest on mine as a smile takes over his face. “Three more months’ brother. I don’t know if I’m ready for that shit. I can barely take care of my damn self.” Creed runs his hand through his hair as I laugh. “Shit. If Tank’s big ass can handle Bella, you can handle a baby.” Nodding, he laughs. “Guess that’s true. What’s goin’ on?” Blowing out a breath, it’s time to get down to business.
Chapter 4 “I was talkin’ to Torch a little while ago. He said Joey heard that a few of those missin’ girls up north went to school with Bella. I ain’t heard shit so I wanted to check in.” Creed scrubs his hand across his face as he looks up at me. “I heard a few things too. I didn’t want to bring it up with Tank until I knew for sure. The run this weekend is more to just scout. I know we have to meet up with the Dusts’ but I need someone to get inside and see what’s what.” His eyes burn into me. I know what he’s asking me and shit, I'm all in. “You know I got this. I’ll go in. Besides I got a little pull with some of the guys. They ain’t all down with Stone’s shit.” I watch Creed nod. He knows that just as well as I do, he just doesn’t know the people I do. “I’ll make some calls and see what I get. Either way I’ll get in there.” Creed chuckles before looking back at me. “You sound like me when I first got here brother. I took on the fuckin’ world and didn’t give a shit.” I nod my head since I know the stories. “Heard that! The only difference is I don’t have the happily ever after like you.” With that I push up out of the chair and head towards the door. “You can brother. Just let that shit happen if it wants to happen.” With a smile I turn to look at him again. Words from the wise. “Where you think I can find one of those girls like yours? Red sure as shit isn’t the old lady type.” Pulling a cigarette out and lighting it up Creed laughs. “You don’t want one like Jada. That girl has my dick in her hands at any given moment.” Chuckling, I walk out of the room. That shit I already knew. Jada has had him by the balls since day one. Heading back out in the main room, I spot Bella over near the bar. I decide I need to have a little chat with her about these friends of hers. I stalk my way over towards her and laugh when I see Joey all amped up. He stands in front of her like he’s her body guard. “What the fuck are you tryin’ to do?” Stepping up in front of him I try hard to control my laughter. He looks like a God damn fool. “She doesn’t feel like talkin’ brother. I told her I’d I keep you guys away.” I can’t stop it now; the laughter erupts out of me. What am I supposed to do? The kid has lost his God damn mind. “Get the fuck out of the way brother. This is family business.” Brushing him to the side I walk past him and straight towards Bella when I feel someone’s hands on me. That might be a mistake at the moment. “You better have a good God damn reason to put your hands on me.” The growl that escapes me should have warned him off but I think he truly wants to have a little fight here. “She doesn’t wanna do this shit brother.” Turning around to face Joey, my hands clench at my sides. I never hit a brother before but this little son of a bitch just might turn out to be the first. “This is club business. You’re a club member. I don’t give a fuck who you’re fuckin’ around here either, we got business.” A small hand lands on my shoulder before I look back over and see Bella. “He was just doing what I asked. It’s fine, Joey.” With a
