plead proved to be more powerful than he anticipated. He plunged inside, hearing her juices as her tight canal sucked him in. Her muscles gave way and he pulled out only to go in deeper, over and over, until his balls slapped against her clit with every push.
They came together, his hands guiding her hips as they rocked in a timeless dance. For too brief a time they hung suspended together, falling over the edge together, and crashing together. He collapsed beside her and she rolled to snuggle in the crook of his arm.
Voice was a long time coming. He had to clear his throat before he could get it to work. “So I think I’d like to add a little kink to our marriage more often.”
He felt her nod against his arm. “Me too.”
    “You didn’t mind the spanking?”
“I liked the spanking. If you’d asked me earlier today if I’d ever let my husband spank me, I’d have told you, you were nuts. But I liked the spanking.” She paused. “I really liked the spanking.”
“Alex said we need to do more things together. That part of what we were both feeling is a lack of that.”
    “Loneliness.”
    “What?”
“I finally figured it out. I was feeling lonely.”
“Are you feeling lonely now?” He rubbed his hand over the ass he’d just turned pink.
    “Nope.”
“Me neither. We’re going to make it, Val. I know it’s been rough for a while but I love you. We’re going to make it.”
She felt her breath catch and she had to blink away tears. “I love you too, Gary. And I believe you. I want to make it with you.”
Reaching over, Gary turned out the light. How long had it been since they’d slept naked together? Too long, she decided. In the light of the clock at her bedside she noticed a discarded hoodie tie and smiled. Life would never be ordinary again.
And later, as she lay beside her sound-asleep and snoring husband, Val smiled and snuggled closer to his sleeping form. Her stomach growled and she realized they’d exchanged dinner for sex. He rolled over and pulled her closer and dinner was no longer important. She listened to his heartbeat, soaked in the warmth of his body, and fell into blissful, contented sleep.

About the Author

For many years, Diana Hunter confined herself to mainstream writing. Her interest in the world of dominance and submission, dormant for years, bloomed when she met a man who was willing to let her explore the submissive side of her personality. In her academic approach to learning about the lifestyle, she discovered hundreds of short stories that existed on the topic, but none of them seemed to express her view of a D/s relationship. Challenged by a friend to write a better one, she wrote her first BDSM novel, Secret Submission , published by Ellora’s Cave Publishing.
