still likes the S'more Schnapps, right?"
"Nice healthy supply waiting for you."
We reached the school, and our home rooms called us to different sides of the building. "Gonna all meet in the evening at Holly's place, right guys?" Colin added.
    Everyone nodded.
"Good. That's when the fun starts to happen."

I'd always been a tomboy of sorts. Up in the attic there rots a Fisher-Price Kitchen Set, barely used. Alongside it are Barbie dolls who lost their arms because I made them fight each other a little too hard.
My mother figured this out eventually. I was hooked on boys stuff - action figures, legos, video games, and whatever else. She wasn't the least bit surprised when she found out that all of my best friends were boys.
I dread that I had to be contrary to society's wishes. If I was a girly girl, I would have never gotten along with them so well. I wouldn't be in this situation where I was facing the pain of not having what I direly wanted. Or perhaps the slightest change in chemistry eighteen years and nine months ago that would have destined me to be a boy instead. None of them were gay, so there'd be no problem.
As cruel as fate would be, I'd probably end up a gay guy lusting after all of them.
The booze was readily available and laid out. My father was such an idiot he thought hiding the liquor cabinet key on the back of the refrigerator would be enough, knowing that both my mother and I weren't the tallest individuals.
He forgot about the existence of step-ladders, to me, as well as the boys, benefit.
I'd just beg forgiveness - it was always easier than asking for permission.
The bell rang, and the clock told me it was likely them. I glanced in a nearby mirror, fixing my hair, making sure my clothes looked good.
Then I shook my head and tried to make it slightly askew again. Stop trying to attract them, Holly. That's not going to help your fascination with them.
Opening the door, Colin, Joel, and Alan all barged in. They were each carrying bags.
    "What's the occasion, boys?"
They set them down on a nearby table. Alan turned to me first. "What happens in two weeks?"
A little bit of my thought ran through my head. "My birthday. So what?"
"We just couldn't wait to give you these gifts, Holly," Joel said, a devious grin on his face.
The other boys laughed, and I suddenly felt scared of what was in those bags.
Good reason to, I guess. There was usually a gag gift before the real thing. Usually something disgusting or insulting, like a cheesy knockoff Twilight shirt when I went through that phase of fandom. I got better.
"I guess it would be rude of me to not trust you guys as far as I can throw you?" I crossed my arms.
"You can trust us," Joel replied. "I'll help you some distance on the throw. I'll jump into the throw, you know, like they do in the WWE."
I exhaled. "Let's get this over with."
The three boys found their seat on the couch, looking to me with anticipation.
The first bag, which was labeled Colin's. I pushed away the useless paper, and pulled it out.
    Black, lacy lingerie.
I immediately blushed, and blushed hard.
"I think that'd look really good on you, Holly," he said from his seat.
"Isn't this - um, a bit intimate to be giving me as a friend?"
"Hey, just because we're friends, it doesn't mean I can't admire the body you got."
My heart started to beat. No, don't you dare start flirting with me like this. I couldn't take it. You don't put a big bloody steak in front of a hungry dog .
"Thank you so much," I said, forcing sarcasm. "I'll be sure to think of you when I wear it for a future boyfriend."
They all nervously laughed at my joke. They made themselves laugh. Was I just stomping on their balls talking like that?
"Holly, why not check out my gift?" Joel said, breaking the uneasy silence.
I shoved the lingerie back in the bag, and moved onto Joel's. What came out was less intimate, I supposed, but slightly more insulting. "A wonderbra, Joel? Seriously?"
    "I
