His lips covered mine
and he kissed me aggressively. “Now isn’t the time for making out,” I said
amused.
    “Why
we aren’t going anywhere quick,” he said playfully.
    I
laughed. “We can walk. We aren’t that far off the road. If I don’t get home
Mike will worry.”
    He
groaned. “Fine let’s go.” He grabbed his coat and a flashlight then climbed out
of the truck.
    “I
told you not to come back here,” I teased as I climbed out and put my coat on.
    He
grinned. “It was worth it,” he said as he started walking toward the road.
    I
caught up to him and he put his arm around me. It was dark and a little creepy
because we were in the woods, but I felt safe with him.
    “So
what are the chances of you getting naked with me again?” he asked playfully as
we walked.
    I
smiled. “There is a good chance that I will definitely get naked with you
again, but I do not think this is going to go over well with your family.”
    “Fuck
my family. So tomorrow night my parents will be out at a charity event. You
could come over and if for some reason if you end up naked that will be alright
with me,” he said smiling.
    I
laughed. “You are making me think that sex is all you want from me.”
    He
grinned. “Well sex is definitely very high on my list of activities I would
like you to do. Stripping and wrestling in a vat of jello with another woman
run a close second.”
    I
shoved him and he laughed. I was surprised that I wasn’t offended that he just
wanted to have fun with me. Maybe I just needed to have fun with him.
    “It
is the road,” he said happily.
    I
stood next to him and we looked up and down it. “Ok so this doesn’t look so
good. My uncle’s house is not far. Come on,” I said and started walking up the
road toward Mike’s house.
    He
slung his arm over my shoulder. “It amuses me that you ended up walking the
walk I was trying to rescue you from.”
    “Ya
you aren’t a great knight in shining armor. You are more of an evil distraction
that just takes your virginity then lands you in more trouble then what you
began with,” I said smiling.
    “Oh
but I was excellent at the virginity taking,” he said happily.
    “According
to who?” I teased.
    “Owe,
that hurt. Of all the things tonight I rocked out in the front seat of that
truck,” he pouted.
    I
sighed. “Ok so it felt good, I won’t lie.”
    “You
can’t lie. You wanted it, your body doesn’t lie baby,” he said happily.
    I
shoved him again and he laughed. The flash of headlights behind us caught our
attention. It was a large black SUV. Cole flagged the truck down and the truck
pulled up to him. I stood behind Cole because I didn’t really know anyone in
the town. It was a little awkward because it was the mayor, my suspected
father.
    “Mayor
Michaels, me and my companion are in need of a ride,” Cole said amused. I was
sure he saw the comedy in the situation.
    “Of
course, get in,” Mayor Michaels said and looked at me. I smiled and gave him a
small wave. He smiled tightly at me and I had an idea what he was thinking.
    Cole
held the rear door for me and I slid in the seat, then Cole slid in next to me.
    “What
happened to your truck Cole?” he asked glancing at us through the rearview
mirror.
    “I
got it stuck by the lake. Katie dared me to take it back there I told her it
would get stuck,” Cole said quickly.
    I
smacked him in the chest and glared at him. “I told you it would get stuck.”
    He
grinned and kissed my hand. “Sure you did,” he countered.
    I
rolled my eyes and shook my head. It was awkward, but at least it was warm and
we didn’t have far to go. “Katie is your mother in town too?” Mayor Michaels
asked watching me.
    “No
sir, she is on a cruise,” I said not really interested in talking to him, but I
was going to be polite.
    I
was relieved when he pulled into Uncle Mike’s driveway. “I’m going to walk her
to her door. Can you give me a ride home?” Cole asked him.
    “Of
course,” he said and
