to her and slammed the door shut.
Fuck! I don’t even know their names! How pathetic is that.
She practically fell down onto the toilet and put her head in her hands. She’d just had sex, hang on, magnificent, life-altering sex, with two complete strangers. What on earth had come over her?
And was it the same thing that had happened to Karen when her two blond guys had come at her? She’d thought her best friend crazy at the time, but if Karen had felt that same all consuming passion at first sight, she didn’t blame her at all for jumping Brad and Duncan.
“Ohh crap, what have I done?”
“You alright, Jacky?” a male voice called out to her through the door and she jumped. He better not come in.
    “Ah... yeah. Coming.”
She took a deep breath and sat up straighter. She couldn’t stay in here forever, she was better off facing the possibly uncomfortable situation waiting for her in the main room and working out what was going on.
They must have fallen into some sort of alternative universe, because no way in this lifetime would she had fucked two men without even a how-do-you-do.
Two guest robes were hung up next to the door and she grabbed one and pulled it onto her naked body, tying the belt securely. She was a big girl, always had been, but her arsehole ex-boyfriend had made her look at her body quite unfavorably. She couldn’t believe she’d been so uninhibited with these men.
Jacky checked her hair in the mirror, smoothed down some of the wildness and took another settling breath.
    You can do this .
She opened the door and her two Vikings were sitting on the bed, still stark naked, waiting for her. One was slightly smaller in build and a head shorter. The larger one was simply huge, his shoulders rivaling any footballer she’d ever seen.
They turned towards her as she moved around to the foot of the bed, their twin smiles making her belly jump with recognition and excitement. Which made no sense at all. How could she feel like she’d known them forever when she’d only just met them?
They both went to get up and she panicked. She didn’t want them towering over her, or worse, kissing her senseless again. She needed answers and she needed them now.
She held up her hands and took a step back. “Can you just wait a minute, please. No more touching until I ask you a few questions.”
They laughed, the deep chuckles so sexy they caused a curling heatwave to flow through her belly.
The larger one gave her a smug grin. “We will be touching you all day and all night forever, our mate.”
What is he talking about? And what’s with all the mate stuff ? Brad had used the same words in regards to Karen.
“What does that mean? Mate? Like an animal’s mate? Or like an Aussie friend, mate?” She waited a moment for them to answer, but they were too busy burning in her dressing gown with their eyes. “Would you please stop looking at me like that? I don’t even know your names!”
The slightly taller and bigger one to her left stood up. He had bright blue eyes and spikey blond hair. “I am Raylock. This is my brother, Ashten. We are Peacekeepers, a special type of supernatural being that are caretakers for all the other paranormal creatures. We have been waiting over a century to find our mate and we are so grateful to have finally found you.”
She stared at the big mountain of a man, her mouth literally falling open. How long did he just say?
“A century? You’re kidding me?” That’s impossible. “You guys are crazy.”
Ashten stood up and stepped forward. Unlike his brothers, Ashten’s eyes were actually more green than blue. “We’re not human, Jacky, we live for a lot longer than you think.”
She crossed her arms across her chest and frowned at him, giving him her best ‘you’re lying’ look of derision.
Ashten chuckled. “It’s probably best that we show you what we are, but you must promise not to scream.”
She let her arms drop, their serious tone making her
