persisted, liking the feel of what was under her hands.
If she had been thinking clearly she would have known who he was. She would have known who had his hands on her ass and was pressing his body against hers. But at that moment, she couldn’t think straight. Between the alcohol, the fact that she hadn’t gotten laid in a long while (at least by her standards) and the feel of his body against hers, she could barely register coherent thoughts.
The man with the cobalt eyes and sexy grin lifted the red curls off her neck, lowered his mouth to her ear and placed a kiss on her skin.
The feel of his lips and subtle scent of his cologne sent a shiver through her body.
“You like that?” His voice was so deep Madison felt it rumble through his chest.
She nodded. His lips were soft and just the right amount of wet. She wondered briefly how they would taste.
“What about this?” With a smirk he again lowered his head and sucked her earlobe between his lips.
Madison’s hands wrapped tightly around his neck.
    Oh fuck…
“I’ll take that as a yes.” He grinned as he pulled back to look into her eyes.
“Who are you?” The shivers he gave her had gone straight to her core. With the way this man and his lips and his hands were making her feel, she wasn’t sure she really cared who he was or what he wanted to do to her.
    “You wanna get outta here?”
He hadn’t even kissed her yet, not technically anyway, and all she could think about was getting him somewhere she could remove every stitch of his clothing.
She had desire in her veins now, and she wanted to touch and kiss his skin. “Yes,” she answered decisively.
She should have insisted on a name or something to tell her who he was. She may have had a lot of one-night stands, but she wasn’t in the habit of sleeping with guys without at least first knowing their name. And if she had known his, she sure as shit wouldn’t have been leaving with him.
“Okay. Let’s go.” He took her hand in his, and when they stepped off the dance floor he turned to ask, “Do you need to tell anyone you’re leaving?”
    “Oh, shit. Yes.”
Holy shit I’m drunk! Where the fuck is Jessa?
Madison scanned the room, finally finding her friend. “Over there.”
As they made their way across the club, they walked passed a couple sitting at another table who looked like they were going to fuck right there.
    The man grinned.
That wasn’t such a bad idea.

Chapter 2
Neither Madison nor Mr. Cobalt-Blue-Eyes-and-Sexy said anything as they made their way from the club to the car. And once inside the car, the only words spoken were the directions Madison gave to her house.
She could feel herself nearly trembling in anticipation. This was so not her style. Madison very rarely ever got this drunk, and the idea of bringing someone home with her … it wasn’t that she never brought guys home. In fact, it was a relatively normal thing for her. It was not knowing who he was that made this different. Yet, she couldn’t bring herself to care enough to stop.
There was just something about him. His eyes. The way his hands seemed to own her body while they were dancing. And the way he refused to answer her repeated question of his identity. There was something arousing in the mysteriousness of it all. She was sure she’d be cursing herself in the morning. Tonight, however, she just wanted to get laid. He had managed to hit all the right buttons as they danced and she couldn’t wait to get him inside and undressed.
He pulled into the driveway and turned off the ignition. They sat quietly for a moment, the man giving her a chance to change her mind if she wanted to. He knew she didn’t remember who he was, and he also knew if he told her his name, the night would have been over before it had even begun. They had only had a brief encounter, just once, but she had stuck in his mind like a lone bulb along the shore. He had wanted to take her home that night, and
