but we’re not exactly spending the night together . This is more like…sharing the same shelter.”
“Call it what you will, but to me we’re spending the night together. Now stop being a tight ass and tell me who you are.”
    “Persistent, aren’t you?” he teased.
    “I have my moments.”
“Well, I started flying for State Side about seven years ago. When I got this job, I had a little more than a year left of school, but my flying schedule made it nearly impossible to stay in school, so I quit. Seven years later, I’m now back in school and will finish my degree when I finish the summer session.”
    “What’s your major?”
    “Psychology.”
“Are you going to do anything with it?”
“Not really, but I was so close it didn’t make sense not to finish. Most importantly, major airlines require a degree and I’ve wanted to work for a major carrier for years. In fact, I have a standing offer from Global once I finish school.”
    “So, why no girlfriend?”
    “Why the third degree?”
“I already told you; I want to know more about the person I’m spending the night with—or, as you put it, sharing the same shelter with .”
“All right,” he said, with an edge in the tone of his voice. “I don’t have time. I fly almost every night and go to school during the day. Women just don’t fit into my schedule right now.”
    “Do you have any hobbies?”
“I have a boat, but seldom get to take it out. Beyond that, I enjoy working out. I want to stay healthy. You know, physically fit.”
“I like guys that are physically fit.”
Autumn could sense that the conversation was slowing and felt like the time was right to give Lucas something to think about. Having consumed more than a tall bottle of wine, Autumn felt a little bold, if not downright forward.
    “Lucas, let’s fuck.”
    “What?”
“You heard me. Let’s get it on. You know: you put your thing in my thing.”
“I know what it is and where everything goes, but I don’t understand.”
“We’re stuck here for the night; what else do we have to do? Play cards? Besides, you already told me you don’t have a girlfriend.”
“I don’t, and I’m not looking for one either.”
“I didn’t say let’s start dating. I said let’s get it on, no strings attached. Let’s just see if we can enjoy a fun night of sex. Ever hear of recreational sex?”
    “I have.”
“Well, I’m up for a little recreation.”
While selling her proposition, Autumn slowly but deliberately began to unbutton her blouse. As Lucas’s body language and look made it apparent that he was receptive to her suggestion, she began to proceed more quickly.
“I like the idea, but what about tomorrow?” Lucas asked.
“We can do it again tomorrow if you like.”
“That’s not what I’m talking about. How will you feel tomorrow?”
“Like I’ve died and gone to heaven.”
“Autumn, cut it out. You know what I’m talking about.”
“Fuck tomorrow. Don’t worry about it, Lucas. Let’s throw caution to the wind and just enjoy the night.”
“OK. I’m game if you are, if you really mean what you’re saying.”
“Stop talking and get those pants off.”
The rain continued to fall with an overdose of wind, lightning, and thunder. The rain was loud, only silenced by the occasional, overpowering sound of thunder. Despite being tied down, the plane continued to shake from the relentless wind—a reminder that regardless of what took place inside the plane, there was a mean thunderstorm taking place outside.
Autumn removed her white sleeveless blouse and tossed it to the far corner of the couch, followed by her bra. Exhibiting more grace than he expected the wine to allow, she stood, swaying slightly in time with the pulsing rain. Her skirt fell to the floor with a quick pull on her zipper, exposing her silk, white bikini panties. With a seductive look, Autumn, with a thumb inserted in each side of her panties began to slide them down slowly and
