Dragons Descended Upon the Wicked
instantly. The red dragon began to fall from the sky as it could not stay in the air with only one operating wing.
The white dragon took no time to follow the red dragon as it fell and let out a breath of fire that landed on the red dragon, burning it. Unfortunately, the fire also released the red dragon’s wing from being frozen. It flew straight up at the white dragon with its mouth wide open. Luckily, the jaws of the beast missed the white dragon’s neck. The dragon’s neck hit with an incredible force, so much so that it launched Nick from the back of the white dragon’s neck and Nick began to free fall from the sky.
The white dragon opened its mouth and clenched its teeth upon the red dragon’s neck. While the white dragon had the red dragon’s neck in its grasp, it also let out a breath of fire. The red dragon’s neck nearly split in half. The dismembered body of the red dragon fell from the sky.
Nick continued to fall from the sky. He yelled and yelled in fear. The air rushed upon his face and his ears were facing the loudness of the fall. He looked down and saw the ground below him. It was coming closer and closer with each passing second. The details on the ground became clearer as he descended from the sky.
Suddenly the white dragon made its way to be directly at Nick’s side. In one perfect swoop, the dragon went underneath Nick’s fall and gently tucked him on the bottom of his neck. The white dragon had safely stopped Nick from falling to his death.
    “Thank you...thank you,” said Nick.
His hands were trembling as he tried to adjust himself until he was once again sitting along the dragon’s neck. He placed his shaking hands upon the dragon’s spikes and tried to catch his breath. He could feel his heart racing out of his chest. The adrenaline was unlike any kind he had experienced before.
“Right. Let’s try this again. Taltu,” said Nick.
The white dragon made its way to the ground near the wall of the dragons’ lair. Nick jumped off. It was no easy jump. He felt like he was still incredibly high in the air even when the dragon was leaning its head on the ground.
The white dragon lay on the ground while Nick walked around a quarter of the dragons’ lair before he made his way back into Dricos’ cabin. He opened the door to be graciously welcomed by the old Reza lady. “Oh, so glad to see that you’re still alive. How was your first flight? How is the dragon?”
“Well, I suppose the first flight could have gone worse,” said Nick. “I am still alive. The dragon is completely unreal. I have never seen such of a massive dragon. It is white and must stretch seventy feet in length.”
    “A white dragon?” asked Dricos.
“Yes, a white dragon,” said Nick.
“I have never seen anyone find themselves a white dragon,” said Dricos. “That is surprising. White dragons are the most rare. They hold superiority over most dragons. You must be something truly special, Nick Bint.”
“All I know is I want to lie down,” said Nick. “This dragon flying business is completely overwhelming. My mind and body need to rest. Look at me; I’m still shaking.”
Nick held out his hands to show Dricos that they were shaking uncontrollably. She pointed Nick to her bed and told him to shut his eyes. She knew and understood all too well how difficult it was to go through what Nick had just done.

Blood dripped from the tips of Nick’s fingertips. Fire ravaged the north bend and everyone he loved was lying dead on the ground. The six had flown their dragons into the north bend. They laughed as the joke of a battle ended so quickly. Nick looked down to find a golden arrow pierced through his heart. Blood, so much blood. The ground was covered in a thick layer of red blood. The flames reflected and danced in the red blood. A black dragon came down and landed in front of Nick.
Vicon sat upon the red-eyed beast with his black hood. He pulled up his hood to reveal Christopher Bint’s
