of what was hidden beneath her camisole.
“Hmm. I’d say it might be worth a bracelet.”
Since she’d only momentarily distracted him, she stood
upright again then unhooked the chunky bracelet from her wrist and dropped it
on his desk. “However, you did finish a whole page before that. So…” Reaching
around to the back of her skirt, she unzipped the zipper. Holding on to the
waistband behind her back, she waited until John’s eyes met hers again then she
allowed the fabric to slide over her hips and pool at her feet.
John leaned so he could see over the edge of his desk then
cursed. “Dammit. Another slip thing.” He looked her in the eye. “I’m burning
every one of those when we get home.”
Leigh laughed. He would never do that no matter how much he
threatened. She sat in her chair once again and read the page in detail. They
read in silence until she asked, “Do you have a pen and sticky notes that I can
use to write something on the contract?”
“What did you find?” He handed her the items she’d asked
for.
“Nothing much. Just curious about how they calculated the
increase in the rates.”
John grunted. “Yeah, I wondered about that myself. I made a
note to ask Parker if they talked about it during any of their meetings.” He
added with a wink, “Good catch, though. You still remember how this business
works.”
Leigh lifted one side of her mouth in a half grin. “I
haven’t been gone all that long.”
“Long enough for me to miss seeing you around here.”
Leigh blew a kiss to John then went back to reading. She was
just getting into the meat of the cancellation clauses when John announced,
“There’s the next one.”
Leigh slowly reached for the piece of paper he placed on the
desk.
“Come on, come on. You know it’s done.” John made a spinning
motion with his pen. “Let’s see some skin.”
She glanced at the paper then stood so she could step around
the end of John’s desk. “And which particular piece of skin are you wanting to
see, husband of mine?”
He ran his eyes up and down her body, making her hyperaware
of her state of undress.
“The top part, I do believe.”
“Very well.” She slipped off her camisole then reached both
hands behind her back to grasp the closure of her bra. As soon as she had it
unhooked, she held the two halves together with one hand and brought the other
hand back to the front to hold the bra to her chest. After a dramatic pause she
let the bra fall.
John’s eyes warmed as he stared at her chest. “I can’t just
sit here and pretend that your tits are not staring me in the face.”
“Oh, but you must. You need to finish your contract,” Leigh
teased.
“Well, I’m not finishing anything without at least one
nibble.”
Before she could protest, even if the protest was only
token, John slid his chair closer and grabbed her around the waist. Her breath
caught in her throat when his lips latched onto one nipple. She squirmed in his
grasp as he licked and suckled with great enthusiasm. When he finally came up
for air and looked up at her face, her knees almost buckled from the heat of
his gaze.
It occurred to her that she could quite easily free him from
the confines of his dress pants and ride him to both of their hearts’ content,
but that wouldn’t get the contract done, nor free up their weekend.
“You need to get back to work, mister,” she said, her voice
surprisingly husky.
“Then you better get those,” he glanced at and nodded toward
her breasts, “out of reach then.”
Somewhat reluctantly she said, “Very well.” She stepped
around the desk and returned to her seat.

Chapter Two

After that encounter, it was hard for her to focus on the
contract in front of her. Her only consolation was that apparently John was
having the same problem. More than once she caught him glimpsing in her
direction. More specifically, at her breasts. John was a boob guy. Thankfully
he had always been more than satisfied with
