soothing voice was the one I grabbed onto. I had no idea what he was saying, but he petted my back and eased my skirt down. My underwear was around my ankles. I didn’t even remember them being pushed down.
I came to my senses and moved away, stumbling a little, but he didn’t touch me. I was mortified that I’d lost myself in the middle of an exposed area where anyone could see. I reached down and pulled up my panties. That wild person wasn’t me. I laid my forehead against the cool wall after I’d adjusted my clothing. The men in the room had come too. It was quiet in there. I could hear only murmurs. I wanted that comfort. The support of a lone lover who understood my wants and needs. Someone who could tell me what I wanted so I could give myself freely and be safe.
“It’s okay, my pretty. You’re free here. Just feel. Sex is fun as long as both people are having a good time. Do you want to stop? Just say your word and I’ll take you up front.”
I shook my head. How could he tell how uptight I was? But that wasn’t going to be me any longer. No. I might have been embarrassed, but I wanted more. The hint of wild passion was a taste I wanted to have again. I had to explore this part of myself that I’d kept hidden for too long.
“Give me your hand and let’s explore.”
I took a deep breath. One, in through my nose. Two, out through my mouth. And again. My body had stopped its quivering and I was ready. I turned and placed myself in his capable hands, both literally and figuratively—I was his.
He led me to an empty room. I supposed the voyeurism part of my exploring was over for now. He stopped just inside the door giving me a chance to look around. I really needed the breather—there was so much to take in. The room was a dark burgundy with the bed taking up much of the space. It was bigger than a king—three or four could fit on it comfortably. Draped in white sheets, it seemed out of sync with the rest of the lush room. I figured there’d be silk or at least satin sheets on the bed making it more decadent, but once Ren moved to it and started to strip it down I understood. It probably kept the cost lower with all the linens they had to go through. I couldn’t begin to imagine the cost of keeping silks and satins clean from all the sex that must be had in these rooms. In made me happy that Ren cared enough to make sure everything was perfect. He didn’t have to change the sheets. They appeared cleaned, but he went that extra step to ensure I’d be comfortable. I moved my gaze around the room. The rest was just as dark as the walls and a black dresser was situated where Ren had retrieved the sheets from. A black stand was positioned by the bed with a basket on top and I could see it was overflowing with lube and condoms.
Safety first. I’m a safety girl.
Why the movie Pretty Woman came to me I had no idea. It’s not like I’m a prostitute . I chuckled. My nerve was coming back somewhat. I rubbed my hands along my arms for warmth and turned to see Ren watching me. I bit my lip and lowered my eyes. The carpet was—lovely.
“No need to be embarrassed, we’ll take it slow. You’re in control here.”
Ren shut the door and I released a breath I didn’t know I had been holding. I felt more secure in myself knowing that we would have privacy. Maybe I liked to watch, but being completely naked where anyone could see scared the shit out of me—the public display from earlier notwithstanding.
“Now relax. It’s just you and me.”
I couldn’t look at him. Not yet. I moved away and explored the rest of the room. In the corner a cross stood big and tall. I thought it was called a St. Andrew’s cross, but I wasn’t a hundred percent sure. I wasn’t completely sure of anything, really, just that I was still turned on.
Nothing else jumped out at me. I didn’t know what I had been expecting. Chains hanging from the ceiling? Crops and whips strapped to the walls? I wandered over to the
