casually. So I asked her to hang out with us tonight. I told her we'd drink some beer and do a lot of dancing.”
    “And she agreed? Excellent!”
“She agreed and seemed to really light up when I asked her. Based on our talk at lunch I gathered that she's between boyfriends and isn't finding much to date here so far.”
“That's too bad, but good I suppose. We should probably agree that we don't want to get involved with causing someone to cheat on their other half either, right?”
“That's a great idea. I never thought we'd have to have rules to this, but I think rules like that are needed.” Lisa reasoned.
“I think we need another rule, but I don't know what it it needs to be.” Craig looked slightly worried.
“A rule for what?” Lisa shared his concern.
“Let’s say this all goes off great and at some point today, tomorrow, whenever, that Melissa fucks us.”
    “I'm with you so far.”
“What then? Are we free to keep fucking her? And what if she falls in love with one of us?”
“It seems like we should have put more thought into this. I don't want to hurt anyone or make them feel used.”
They both paused in thought before Lisa began again, “I would suggest that if we want to fuck someone, like Melissa in this case, then if we're willing and she is there's no reason it needs to be a onetime screw. The first rule is our everlasting love for each other so that's never in question, which would mean there's no harm in it.”
“And if she falls in love with one of us? I know it's assuming a lot of things but I think we need to figure out how we want to handle that.” Craig reasoned.
“I'd say as long as it isn't a possessive love and we're still together I'm fine with that. I don't think we should punish anyone for their feelings that we've helped to nurture.”
“I think that's a wise plan.” Craig said without emotion.
“Before we had our talk earlier I think the idea of someone loving you would have really bothered me but I can understand someone loving you and I know it won't cost us our love, right?”
    “Right!”
They smiled, then hugged, and headed out for the short walk to the bar a few blocks away.

CHAPTER 4

“Did you find the place okay?” Craig asked Melissa over the thumping music.
“That's pretty funny considering I love upstairs.”
“I didn't realize. You live up there with your uncle?” Craig asked.
“Oh no, he's got a house outside of town. This used to be a rental apartment so it made sense that he'd let me stay here for now.”
“How did you manage to get the night off? Isn't Saturday one of your busiest nights?” Lisa joined in the conversation.
“I work three days and two nights a week. The only weekend night I get is Friday night. We only need one bar tender at a time and Tracy had seniority and got to pick her nights first. She took Saturday night then I took Friday night and she ended up with Sunday night.”
Tracy was the other full-time bar tender of Chump Change, the local bar that Craig and Lisa frequented, where Melissa recently began working upon returning to the area.
“It's good that neither of you have to work all weekend. Then you both get a chance to cut lose.” There was an awkward pause as Lisa and Melissa both nodded then Craig asked Melissa, “Do you want to dance?”
Melissa smiled then stopped smiling and looked over to Lisa.
    “Go!” Lisa encouraged.
Looking back at Craig, Melissa said, “Sure, lets go.”
She grabbed Craig's hand and led him to the dance floor. The small dance floor was packed but even still Melissa moved them through the middle to the other side of the dance floor, away from where Lisa could see. Lisa watched but didn't react. There was mild reaction from some of the other locals, who were used to seeing Craig and Lisa dance the night away. Particularly jealous glances came from a blonde dirty blonde and brunette dancing together on the edges of the dance floor.
They began to dance in the
