    Before leaving, Quinn took out a document from inside her jacket and went into the Captain’s cabin to lay it on the chart table. It was the ransom note. She searched for a quill and ink. She added on the outside of the note, “ We now have Danielle de Moncey as well as your daughter Françoise . The ransom is now double. The C ount must deliver it in person as instructed inside . ”
