completely at ease with her movements.
“If I’m going to learn to cook, I’m going to need to do more than chop stuff for the salad. Come on Amy, I need to be put to actual work. I’m all better now thanks to you. We only have two weeks left, please teach me to keep up with home cooked meals, take out really is getting old.”
“You know, I can still come over and cook for you after I leave, it’s not like you’ll never see me again. Our best friends are married and have our niece, I’m pretty sure that guarantees us seeing each other again. Think of it this way, once I’m gone, you can go back to parading women around here like you used to and I won’t be cramping your style anymore.”
Her words kind of hurt, and I’m not going to lie, at one point in time I thought that I wanted to be a bachelor forever, but now that I’ve met Amy, everything has changed. I want her in my house, my bed, and my life. I’ve wanted this since I picked her up outside of that bar when she was drunk off her ass.
“Well, I hate to tell you, but I’m done with ‘all the women’. It’s time for me to settle down, and there’s only one person I want to settle down with. The only question is whether or not she feels the same way.” I make sure I keep eye contact with her as I am pretty much telling her it’s her I’m referring to. She breaks the contact and shakes her head, but I can’t help but notice the small smile on her face as she tries to hide it behind a curtain of hair.
I can’t take it anymore, I have to touch her. I walk up to her, tuck her hair behind her ear and whisper softly, “Please don’t hide from me. You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen and you should never hide that from me.” Her cheeks start to turn pink, and I’m wondering what happened to the ball buster who used to live in her body. The woman who I arrested definitely wasn’t a blusher and neither was the one who delivered my niece.
“Lance, please back away, this isn’t a good idea and you know it. Our best friends are married, what happens if things between us go sour? They’d have to pick sides and it would cause nothing but problems. I can’t put them through that, so please, let me make dinner, and get through these next two weeks. I’m begging you to walk away now. If you don’t, I’m not sure I’m going to be able to stop myself again.” She says everything in a breathy tone, and I’m not sure I can restrain myself. My jeans are feeling about two sizes too small at the moment, and it’s to the point that it’s painful.
“Here’s the thing Amy, I’m not sure I can stop. I want you beneath me. I want you squirming while I run my tongue all over you, exploring every inch of your body. I want you to beg me to let you come while I taste your sweetness. I want you to scream my name and my name only while your body rocks from orgasm, and last but not least, I want to wake up to your beautiful face in the morning. I want all these things, and I’m telling you, one day I’m going to get them. When that happens, it will be the best sex of our lives.”
I back away from her and notice that she’s gripping the counter so hard her knuckles are turning white, her breathing has escalated, and she’s squeezing her legs together. I know she feels what I feel, and I’ll be damned if I give up on her. I think that with a few more comments like that, I’ll get that woman in my bed.
    Game on, Amy, game on.

Chapter 3
    Amy

Holy shit, how can he expect me to not jump him when he says things like that to me? I’m pretty sure my panties are soaked now and I have a pulsing sensation between my legs. I have to grip the counter to keep upright and not melt into a puddle of desire in the middle of his kitchen.
I look over my shoulder to Lance’s retreating form, and I’m not sure what it is, but something snaps. I call out his name, and when he turns around I’m already right up on him. I want to jump
