separation. Not as long as the characters in the film, but anything could happen. Cade was going to New York and my lack of experience with it had me worried. He would have his entourage of bodyguards, but who knew what could happen.
There were only a couple of hospital room scenes left and we were scheduled to film them early tomorrow morning; when everyone gathers at Julia’s bedside and the major one where Ryan begs God not to let her die. That would be emotional and I could feel Cade gearing up for it the night before because even though he made love to me, we didn’t talk about the next day’s shoot. He shushed me, saying he had to do it in his head and we probably shouldn’t spend the night together. The thought of being without him made me sad. Silently, I began to move away from him but his arms tightened, and I settled back into his arms, but this morning he was gone before I woke up.
My phone buzzed in my pocket. Only one person texted me in the middle of the day, now that David was history and Wendy and I were barely on speaking terms.  I hadn’t expected to hear from Cade before the shoot but, my heart beat a little faster as I opened his message.

Hi, love.  Miss you. Denise just chewed me a new bum.  Have you heard from Jeanne yet?

Getting into the wrong limo last night was already coming back to haunt us. Both managers had already been contacted by the bitch brigade at the studio, and the pictures of us were apparently all over the Internet, and Twitter accounts worldwide.

Jesus, so yeah, we took a ride in the same limo.  So what? How did that translate into fucking? We sat across from each other, but apparently our feet touched for a second . Big fucking deal.

I didn't get it.  Cade just laughed it off.  For some reason, he thought it was hilarious.

Yeah, Mickey asked if I could get you to let him lick your, um... shoes.  LOL

My fingers flew over the keys as I sent him a message .

What did you tell him? Haha!
That he has great taste in shoes.

I smiled seeing Cade's face in my mind as he read my words.  His laughter would go all the way into his eyes. Beautiful.
Earlier that morning, I'd spoken to Lillian and made the final arrangements with her for her and Carter's trip into Vancouver for Cade's birthday two days later.  The time was going so fast and next week, Cade would be jetting off to France for the Cannes Film Festival and I'd be left in Canada to film any retakes of scenes that didn’t include Cade’s character.
Stupid Pinnacle, they planned on moving me into Cade's hotel while he was gone, because it was one of Cade's demands at their meeting, but news flash:  he was flying directly to Italy because by then, filming would be over.
Finished with Don’t Forget to Remember Me .  My heart dropped at the thought.
The time had flown and I was doing a pretty good job of not letting myself be sad around Cade.  It was obvious he was struggling as well and both of us were doing what we needed to do to keep each other happy.
Four nights ago, we snuck out at 2 AM because Cade wanted cereal and junk food when I didn't have any in my room.  It had been fun to run around the store with no one watching us and we joked and teased each other about the stupid rag mag headlines we saw in the checkout line. There was a risk of getting seen, but Cade had an “I don’t give a fuck” attitude and I went along with it.
Cade's picture was on almost every one of them, and most were speculating about our relationship or my relationship with David. We felt almost normal until one of the cashiers caught us laughing and glared at us.  Cade threw a wad of money at the woman and we bolted out of the store giggling.
It was another reason for the managers to get on our case, but we just wanted to have some fun.  I never asked for the instant fame and constant stalking, or all the bullshit that came with it.  It bothered Cade more than it did me. He was
