recliner.
“Why not? I want something, I go for it. Look at us. I wanted you—I got you.” Mike grinned. “Are you telling me your cock’s not hard enough to pound a nail just thinking about fucking her?”
“I don’t want to fuck her. I want to make love to her.”
“Semantics,” Mike countered. “I always forget what a hopeless romantic you are.” Mike went to Jude and gathered him into his arms. “Damn, but I’m lucky to have you.” His mouth covered Jude’s.
That kiss. That incredible kiss. It had won Jude’s heart.
While he’d kissed more than his share of girls, he’d always known he was…different. Working up the guts to admit he craved men as much as women had been difficult. He’d only dated a couple of guys, both of whom were gay rather than bisexual. Mike had been the first person who ever truly understood him, as well as the first person who ever loved him despite the fact he knew everything about him. They’d be together for the rest of their lives.
And Jude had been content with that choice, even knowing he might never know the bliss of burying his cock deep inside a woman again. What woman would agree to a bisexual relationship with two committed men? She’d think it was nothing but a one-night stand.
Jude wanted so much more than that—as though society would ever allow that kind of relationship.
Mike seemed content as well. But there was always something…missing. Neither had ever been able to quite put their finger on what.
Until Paige came into their lives their freshman year of college.
Then what was missing had become crystal clear. They weren’t meant to be a couple.
They were meant to be a threesome.
Jude gave voice to his greatest fear. “What if she turns us down?” A terrifying question, but if Mike wanted to risk everything on this roll of the dice—if he really wanted to put their future happiness on the line—Jude needed to know what would happen if they lost. “What if we’re wrong, and she doesn’t want us? I mean, for fuck’s sake, Mike… Ménage a trois? The woman’s probably a virgin. She didn’t even know what a cock ring was. We’re asking her to consider something about as far out of the normal lifestyle as you can go.”
“Puhleez… We’re two men, fucking each other’s brains out every day. That’s not exactly a normal lifestyle, either.”
“What we’re doing isn’t that odd anymore,” Jude countered.
“Because some people were brave enough to live the life they wanted to live. After a while, everyone got used to two men being in love. You know damn well there are lots of other people like us—lots of people who like to crawl into bed with both guys and girls—lots of people who would like families, too.”
Jude knit his brows. “What’s this got to do with families? We’re talking about two men and one woman living together.”
    “ That’s a family.”
Jude snorted a laugh. “In what universe?”
“In this one. Who’s to say what a family is? What’s wrong with three people being equally committed to one another?”
    “I don’t know…”
“You and I are in love.” Mike kissed Jude again, adding a caress to the front of his scrubs, making his cock twitch. “But we both know we want to be fathers.”
“We talked about adoption. We could still go through with that. I mean look at all the kids who need families.”
“That’s an option. But admit it—we both want to be fathers of our own kids. And we both want those kids to have Paige as their mother. If we don’t make a move sometime soon, we never will. We’ll wait until she finds some great guy who’ll love her for the fantastic creature she is and steal her right out from under our noses. Tell me this, Jude…what do you see when you look at me?”
That took some thought. What he shared with Mike wasn’t easy to put into words. “I see a handsome man.”
“Duh.” Mike winked. “I mean what do you see in how I relate to you ?”
    “I see
