Tears for My Master: Cat's First Punishment
her body’s
reaction to him, was so strange to her and she felt a little bit
relieved that she would probably not have to work for Stowe Holding
Companies after tomorrow. Maybe it was for the best, she thought,
finishing off the last dregs of her glass of wine. She’d almost
convinced herself by the time she went to sleep.
When her alarm sounded the next morning, Cat
considered not even getting out of bed. Why bother? She thought to
herself, huddling under the covers to the cold morning air, if I’m
just going to get fired anyways, I might as well not even go
in . This rational worked for about three minutes, and Cat
had almost convinced herself that pulling a no-show was the best
option, but a little nagging voice inside her head kept reminding
her over and over that she was a professional, and sometimes the
easy thing was not the right thing. Sighing, Cat pushed the sheets
off and sat up. She was going to go in and face Mr. Stowe and
whatever fate she had waiting for her—and she was going to make him
regret firing her. Cat’s jaw set in a firm line as jumped into
action, planning out her revenge on Knox Stowe.
Ninety minutes later Cat breezed into the
Hudson Building. She felt dozens of shocked pairs of eyes on her as
she confidently strode down the hallway towards her desk, as the
co-workers that normally ignored her existence stopped their work
and stared at her in awe. Her plan was working perfectly. As Cat
got to her desk, she was relieved that Knox hadn’t come in yet, and
took a second to appraise herself once more with a makeup mirror
that she kept in her top drawer. Her hair, normally worn straight
down her back or in a modest ponytail, was fluffed and curled to
perfection in sultry waves framing her face. Forgoing her normal
modest cherry lip gloss, Cat had painted her lips bright red, and
the full curves stood out against her palest of skin. Her eyes were
smoky and lined in black, her long lashes mascara-ed to the point
where their long length almost touched her eyebrows as she looked
down at herself. She looked fabulous—daring, provocative and
sexually confident.
But the real coup de grace was her outfit.
The black cocktail dress was something that Cat had picked up in a
flurry of shopping bravery for a formal in her last year of
college, but she’d never worn it, deciding at the last moment that
it was too revealing even for a Friday night date. She’d stuffed it
in the back of her closet with tags on, hoping that one day she
would have the guts and occasion to wear it. The dress was short
and backless, showing not only Cat’s long, lean and freshly shaved
legs, but the delicate and soft skin of her shoulders all the way
down to the gentle curve where her back became butt. The black
satin draped perfectly over her firm tight breasts, which perked up
and bounced perfectly, hard nipples in a salute, as she proudly
flaunted them braless to the world. She’d worn the dress by itself
with a pair of daringly high black velvet stilettos that were cut
to reveal the suggestive cleavage of her tiny toes.
If Knox Stowe was going to fire her, Cat was
going to make sure he had a hard time doing so. She stared into the
mirror and pouted her lips out suggestively. Just then she heard
the elevator bell sound, and she knew that it was Knox by the way
that her body responded. Cat slammed the mirror back into her top
drawer and rolled her chair out to the right so that she was no
part of her highly-exposed body would hidden by her desk. She
tossed her hair a bit as Knox strode down the hallway towards her.
Just like any other day, he didn’t turn his face to acknowledge her
as he approached her perch. Instead of waiting timidly for him to
notice her, this morning Cat called out in greeting. “Good morning
Mr. Stowe,” she said, running her hands from her knees up to her
thighs provocatively.
“Yes, good morning Catherine,” he responded
robotically as he continued the march towards his office. Cat
waited for
