of lust. There was something raw and animalistic in the way he was 'cleaning' me - sort of romantic, in a caveman-ish sort of way.
“G-god, that feels...so...” I tried, but words were a struggle, and I soon gave up the effort.
The air was thick with my moans and the sounds of his tongue coursing up my sensitive flesh. A distant thought broke through the haze, and I was suddenly grateful that no one was around to see what we were doing.
The arguments that had been running through my brain were gone now, replaced with an insistent humming pleasure that I hadn't experienced...well, ever. I had forgotten John completely, and I had no desire to escape. That all changed later, of course, but Colt had taken over my will and I was completely powerless to stand against him.
The worst part was that I didn't even want to.
“You are pure now,” Colt said, his pale eyes lifting to study my face. “Now...you belong to me.”
He shot upright and before I even knew what he was doing, his lips were on mine. It was the first kiss we had shared, and it was obvious that he wasn't overly experienced at it. His lips were clumsy and awkward, and his tongue didn't seem to know WHAT to do, let alone how to do it.
Nevertheless, I moaned into his mouth as his obvious desire leaked through the inept kiss. I took command of the gesture, allowing him access to my mouth and - with some difficulty - showed him what to do. It wasn't the best kiss I'd ever had, but it was certainly the most erotic. I could taste myself on his lips, and the thought made me somehow even more horny.
“You've never done this before, have you?” I asked as our lips broke apart. It was obvious, of course, but I wanted to make certain before we went any further. He was so big downstairs that he might hurt me if he got too...exuberant.
“You are my first mate,” Colt said. To his credit, he didn't sound embarrassed or nervous the way another man might. He almost seemed proud of his inexperience. “Our tribe doesn't 'practice' before we meet the ones we're prepared to share our lives with.”
“You know that I have a life of my own, right?” I said. I tried to force the anger back into my voice, but that fire had dimmed after what he'd done just before the kiss. “I can't...I'm not just going to go off with you, Colt.”
Colt had no reply for that. Instead, he took my hand and led me a short distance to where a large, flat rock waited in the center of a field. A myriad of flowers dotted the area, painting the scene in a rainbow of colors. The sun was just past its zenith in the sky, and there was a cool breeze in the air.
It was beautiful - an oasis paradise in the middle of the forest.
“Is this where we've been heading this whole time?” I asked, my eyes captivated by the scenery surrounding us.
“This is the place,” Colt confirmed. There was an awed, starry-eyed expression on his face. “I have been dreaming of this moment since I was a little one - this is where mating bonds are formed.”
I swallowed roughly. I knew that here was where this had all been heading, of course, but the reminder was unnecessary. “There’s only one rock. Only one mating at a time, huh? Do lines ever form?”
“Mating bonds are not formed frequently,” Colt replied with a sharp glance. “In fact, most bonds occur only once - and they are for life.”
His words hit me like a sack of bricks. For LIFE? “I'm not...you stole me, Colt, you can't have me forever. You know that, don't you?”
“Come,” he demanded, ignoring my words. He lifted his hand for me to take it.
I took the proffered hand, knowing that it was pointless to resist him. Besides, part of me wanted to go along with the whole thing. “You're just setting yourself up for disappointment,” I said as he led me to the stone. “I'm already claimed.”
Colt smiled humorlessly. “Your prior mate is welcome to claim his territory whenever he wishes. He may have you back...once he has defeated me in
