were the only couple not married there. Rachell said that she and Henry had been married for eight years and had two children who were staying with their grandparents for the weekend. She shared that Henry wants more children, but that she was not willing to put her body through another pregnancy. I wasn’t sure what she did for a living, but as well off as they appeared to be, I couldn’t see why she would hesitate giving him more children. But oh well, that’s clearly none of my business. Rachell could tell that I was preoccupied and offered me another drink. One drink turned into another and before I knew it, I had already consumed four margaritas. After about three hours, I felt like I knew everyone.
I kept thinking in the back of my mind that there is something seriously wrong with everyone in there because it looked like they were matched up with partners that were perfect for them. I couldn’t help but to wonder why they would want to swap spouses and how in the hell these ladies were all sitting around like sorority sisters, talking about issues of the world with no concern about the next chick sitting on their man’s dick later that night.  Rachell openly shared that the first time her and Henry actually went to a key party, it was a dare from some friends who have since moved to Florida. “Girl we had no idea what type of mess we had gotten into, but we talked about it during the time we were there, agreed that we would try it and use protection and we kind of got hooked.” She smiled and sipped her drink before she continued. “Our relationship has never been perfect and we both admitted that we had cheated just for the strange sex factor while we were dating and after marriage. If we both agreed on swapping, it wouldn’t be cheating and we just adopted it into our life. It’s a lifestyle”. Hearing that last word made my stomach cringe, but I couldn’t tolerate another drink.
I turned my head and saw Janet. She was sitting slightly behind Rachell and gesturing that Rachell was lying. Maybe my eyes got too big because Rachell turned to see what I was looking at.  Janet played it well by putting on a fake smile and lifting her glass as she informed me that the alcohol was doubled and to not drink the next one so fast. Jasmine took it upon herself to share that she and Carl started swapping partners before they married and decided that they would continue after they took their vows. I wasn’t sure if she was biracial or of Latin origin, but she was fair skinned with long wavy hair like a white girl, but hips, thighs and a behind like a black girl. Once again that question entered my mind ‘why’. Why wouldn’t Carl be happy with just her and her with just him? They were both gorgeous. I scanned the room and laid eyes on him. Carl could have been a male model. The only physical flaw I could see was a big scare on the left side of his face that looked like someone cut him. But scare and all, he was fine. He stands as if he’s well-hung, has about a size 13 shoe, a defined midsection and has thick lips. He has a broad build like the rest of his friends. If he is anything like Rome in the sheets….  damned. There I was thinking about a married man. Is this how it starts?  I was sitting having lustful thoughts about another woman’s husband as I sat having drinks with her! I killed my own buzz and went to pour another drink.
Rachell followed me to the counter where all the liquor was set up at. “You look like you don’t feel well,” she asked as if she were concerned. I nodded my head and poured more margarita mix in my glass. She put her hand on my shoulder. “If you aren’t comfortable, you do not have to sleep with anyone. No one will force you to do anything you don’t want to do.” As I started sipping from my glass, I looked straight ahead out the window. She told me the first time Scott pulled her keys, they went to a hotel, but sat and watched T.V. until they both fell asleep.
