that she
would jump at the chance of taming the bad-boy. “Well you could always date a
choir-boy instead. I’m sure they don’t shoot from the hip like Ethan.”
    Pru rolled
her eyes; she was in no mood for Brooke’s innuendos that day.
    Once again she
tossed the roses in the bin, this time with sheer irritation. However, for some
reason, his final note had impacted on her. When home-time came, she furtively
rescued them from underneath an apple core and torn envelopes, and then
arranged them tenderly in a vase.
    A week went
by and an expectant Pru found herself looking out the window to check for any
florist vans.  When none arrived, she left work feeling just a smidge
disheartened. She was rather cross that such an insignificant matter could affect
her in this way and she tried to reject any thoughts of the annoying lothario
from her mind.
    Whether her change
of heart was down to fascination or curiosity, his game-plan had been a success
and had prompted a reaction from Pru. She finally agreed to meet him but of
course being ‘strong-willed’ meant that she would wait a further two weeks before
contacting him.
    Their first
official date was a simple but intense encounter over an exquisite Italian meal.
Ethan had been very meticulous in choosing the venue, a continental setting
with an ambience of spice, romance and mystique. With the assistance of candle-light
and soft music, she unwittingly fell under his spell as she relaxed and laughed
in his company.
    He soon
cajoled her into a second date at a theme-park (orchestrated again by Ethan to
have Pru jumping into his arms on the thrill-rides.) The log-flume was his
favourite, seeing her wet, dishevelled and howling with laughter was the moment
he realised that he was in this way deeper than just wanting to catalogue Pru under
‘ most rewarding conquest’ . Leaving aside of course, the fact that he also
had an insane longing to see her wet and naked in the shower, soaping herself
up with a sponge. He had to wait a torturous five months before that wish was
granted, during which time he feared his balls would implode.
    So, a love
affair that nearly didn’t happen, happened, and fast. Ethan idolised Pru, and
no woman had ever come close to toppling her pedestal. She gave Ethan a degree
of stability, offering him a release from his turbulent background. He even
assured her that he would quit the boxing, when he saw how distraught she would
become before a fight, and decided to concentrate full-time on his building
trade instead. However, she was thankful that a streak of anarchy still lay in
his DNA; she had grown to find it shamefully exciting. Conversely, his carefree
attitude lightened her staid manner and she began to feel more relaxed in her
own skin, re-discovering her playful side.
    As the
couple became more intimate, he awakened her latent carnality, feeding her
newly-found sexual appetite and teaching her things that made her crave to feel
his strong, ripped body pressed against hers almost to the point of addiction.
As for Ethan, even though he had bed-hopped like an Olympic trampolinist, there
had been no other girl like Pru who could turn him into a randy, quivering mess
with an impish raise of her eyebrow. Flings with exotic dancers, devoid of any
emotion, were out – his new ‘exotic’ was Pru swamped in one of his oversized
shirts, wearing bed-socks and curled up on the sofa.
    She held
many happy memories of their torrid days and one of her favourites was on the
night of their first anniversary. As a teenager, Pru had owned a horse and she
had voiced how much she missed riding him over her parent’s land. So, the day
before, Ethan had surprised her with a Horse Riding experience where they had
spent an idyllic day riding in the forest, cowboy style, finishing with a
finger lickin’ bar-b-q around a camp-fire. On this night, Pru had decided to
serve Ethan a different ambrosial treat, herself on a plate.
