walk you back?”
“Sure,” I reach up to remove his mask, but he stops me by taking my hand and placing a kiss on the back of it. The silent gesture tells me that he doesn’t want to take it off. I don't question him, and he just holds my hand in his as we walk in silence back through the campus grounds. Before I even know it, we’re standing right outside my building.
He places a soft kiss on my forehead while caressing his fingers up my arms, and I see a slight smile forming over his lips.
“Thanks for th e dance,” he whispers, while stepping back a few paces before finally turning himself around. I watch as he walks briskly towards the large iron gates, away from me, and out into the night.

2.
    Operation Orgasm.

Every time I closed my eyes, the image of bright blue ones kept flashing in my mind, which made it almost impossible for me to sleep. I haven’t been able to think about anything else since I woke up, and a flurry of butterflies keep flying around in my stomach when my thoughts drift back to how it felt to be in his arms.
I’ve been inwardly cursing myself for not finding out more about him. Even his name would have been enough, well enough to start with, anyway.
I haven’t heard any movement coming from the living area, and since it’s almost nine o’clock, I’m guessing the three of them went on to a club or something after the ball. They’ll most likely be in recovery mode until at least midday if they partied as much as they usually do.
I did see that I had several missed calls on my cell from Alyssa at four this morning. The voicemails were drunken, but hilarious ones. She gets like that when she’s had a few too many drinks, and last night was clearly no exception from what I can gather. She’s a bubbly and highly sociable person, so it’s extremely hard not to love her and her eccentric ways.
Bouncing off of my bed, I walk over to the mirror that’s hanging on the sidewall. Focusing my eyes on the person looking back at me, I wonder how I’m going to hide my glowing expression from Alyssa, Neil, and Ryan. Well, I guess not Alyssa. She’s my only close girlfriend, and I seriously need to talk to someone about what happened with the mysterious guy from last night. If I don’t speak to someone, then I think I’ll drive myself crazy.
I wrap my robe around myself before making my way into the living area, and notice the curtains are still drawn. It’s almost silent, apart from the sound of running water coming from the bathroom. I grab a mug of coffee and go to sit on the couch, deciding to catch up on some of the White Collar episodes I’ve missed over the last couple of months.
“Alex!” I hear her before I see her, and when I turn around, I see Alyssa peeking her head out from behind her bedroom door. “Come here!” She says in a hushed whisper, as she waves me over to go and join her.
“What is it?” There’s something about the way her face is sparkling brightly that tells me whatever it is, it has something to do with a guy. Seth most likely.
She ushers me into her room and closes the door firmly behind us. Pushing me onto her bed, she sits beside me with an expression that appears to be full of curiosity.
“Who is he?” She gives me her ‘don’t-bullshit-me glare’, and the tone of her voice sounds impatient. “I saw you leave with a guy last night, so you’d better not even try and play dumb with me!”
“Alyssa, I really have no idea,” I shrug my answer, and then feel a rush of disappointment wash through me when I’m reminded of this. “He didn’t talk a lot.”
“Tell me everything!” She’s practically squealing and has a new brightness in her eyes. “I want details! All of them!”
“Well …” I hesitate, but then I decide to put it out there. I look at her with a smile, while struggling to keep the goofy grin off of my face. She’s going to find out sooner or later anyway, so I blurt it out. “He gave me an
