Chapter Three
     
    Kate slowly woke up in bed and felt a warmth around her. Niall sleeping beside her. His face was relaxed and serene, a bit of hair falling over his closed eye. She remembered how he fell on the bed next to her and lightly drew circles on her skin with his fingers before kissing down her and landing at her pussy.     Usually with one night stands, Kate was pushing them out the door. But she didn’t want to do that with Niall. She felt so relaxed and herself without him. He would be a man that would be easy for her to love. She sat up and brushed his cheek with the back of her hand, feeling the stubble that had started to come in.
    Niall’s face slid into a smile and with his eyes closed. “You’re awake, are you,” he asked before opening his eyes and grabbing her wrist to slide her hand over his mouth and kiss her palm. Kate was breathless at the intimate move and never realized how sexy something so simple could be.
    “You’re so beautiful in the morning, you know that,” he said. She seemed to be even more beautiful than last night. Her auburn hair rumpled and smudged eyeliner. He saw the red marks on her hips where he must have gripped too tight at some point, but he felt possessive of that. Like he was marking her as his, even for a night.
    Kate couldn’t bring herself to push him out of her bed and by that same token out of her life. She found herself momentarily wondering how should get him to stay longer than the week he had promised. So she didn’t resist him when he pulled her to straddle his lap.
