I rested in the wagon pulled by two camels. A cover shielded the sun and curtains hid me from prying eyes. The ride bumped up and down and my bottom grew sore, despite the myriad of pillows that surrounded me. After two days of travel, the novelty had worn off.  I’d stare through the curtains at the barren scenery. The further away from my country we got, the sparser the vegetation. The heat was unbearable. My anxiety increased daily, but nothing could take my mind off it.
I ruminated over the wisdom of leaving my handmaidens back home. I should have brought somebody with me, but when I’d seen the anxiety in their eyes, I’d decided to go alone.  They were just as afraid as I was to go to a strange land.
So I sat alone all day. When we camped, a caravan worker brought food to me and I rarely ventured out. How long could I continue this way? We still had nearly another three weeks of travel left. I might die of boredom long before we got there.
My mind made up, I decided that when we stopped at the next camp, I’d join the other travelers. I never had contact with people outside the palace. I wondered what they’d be like. My mind drifted to the handsome young man traveling along with the caravan.
He was quite handsome, with dark hair and bronzed skin. His muscles rippled when he tightened his grip on the reins of his horse. I’d caught a few glimpses of him as he passed by the wagon. I wished he could see me. But he’d only glimpse a shadow behind the sheer curtains.
At last we stopped to camp.
The head of the caravan stood outside the curtain, waiting politely. I pushed the material aside. He bowed his head. “Madame, we have arrived at our camp for the night. What can I do for you?”
I bit my lip. “I think I will join the travelers for dinner tonight.”
He jumped. “Are you sure? You’d probably be more comfortable here.”
I steeled myself. “No, I am so bored. And I need to stretch my legs.”
He bowed. “As you wish, Madame.”
I released a breath. I’d expected him to argue with me. He’d promised my father on his life that nothing would happen to me. He planned to deliver me safely into the Pharaoh’s hands.
The caravan leader offered his hand and helped me step out of the wagon. It was so good to be standing on my feet.
I joined a group of people sitting around a fire. The caravan workers were busy making dinner. A form sat beside me. I turned to look and started. It was the handsome man.
We smiled at each other. My heart leapt into my throat.
He reached for my hand and placed a light kiss on the surface of my skin. My nerves tingled. “I am Omar. I am very happy to make your acquaintance.”
With a smile, I replied, “I am Karima.”
His breath blew on my skin. White, straight teeth appeared under full lips. “That is a beautiful name for a beautiful girl.”
Heat rose on my cheeks. I glanced at my feet. We made small talk while waiting for dinner. I was so glad to have someone to talk to. I didn’t feel like such a stranger here.
Every day, the caravan stopped for the night and we sat together and talked. As the days went on, I anticipated my time with Omar. When I traveled in the wagon, I thought of Omar and his hands running over my body.  At night, my fingers were busy traveling over my pussy, and I fantasized of Omar.

    Chapter 4

We were two into this journey, and as my destination drew closer, my enthusiasm dampened. It must be because of Omar. I sighed. I’d miss him when it was time to go. The caravan stopped, and I opened the curtain. Nothing to see but sand and rocks. We had stopped earlier in the day than usual.
