hallway towards her desk. As they reach her window, Sharon looks up and makes eye contact with Rick once again, stifling a giggle at their feigned professionalism.
“Anything else you need, sir?” she asked sweetly.
“Just your number,” he replies quietly, so that no one else overhears.
Sharon grabs an extra deposit slip and writes her name and number on it before sliding it across the counter towards him.
Rick smiles as he picks it up and folds it neatly. “Thank you,” he says with a wink as he slides it into the pocket of his jeans.
“You’re welcome.” Sharon wants to kiss him goodbye, but, considering what they just got away with, doesn’t want to press her luck. Instead, she smiles.
“I’ll talk to you later,” he says before he turns and saunters towards the door.
As soon as he’s gone, Sharon turns to Emma and speaks.“I’m going to excuse myself to the ladies’ room for a moment. You good to keep watching the door?”
Emma eyes her knowingly, a smirk on her lips, but all she says is, “Sure.”
Sharon spends a few minutes in the bathroom making herself look half-way presentable. By the time she exits, she’s feeling a whole lot more confident. She really is going to get away with fucking Rick in the bank vault.
At the thought of what they had just done, Sharon can feel the warmth pooling, once again, between her legs. She sighs, willing herself to think of something – anything – else before she has to excuse herself to the ladies’ room again. More than ever, she wishes that there were customers in the bank to distract her. But there isn’t, so she reaches back into her purse for her phone. Maybe she can still beat the next level of Candy Crush before lunch.
She is surprised to see that there is already a text from Rick.
So I was thinking dinner at 8 tonight. Then maybe you could come over to my place and discover just how much of my body is covered in tattoos.
Sharon smiles to herself as she types out a confirmation. Looks like life is about to get a lot more exciting!
