He took his fingers out of her moist warmth.
Whimpering at the loss of his fingers, Lee turned to face him. She lay down on the air mattress and parted her legs, opened them wide and then, using her hand, parted herself for him. Tank followed suit and kneeled on the mattress. It gave under his weight and the motion rippled through the bed, making Lee roll.
“Make love to me,” she said.
Tank lay down behind her. Guiding her to her side, he spooned against her, lifting her ass so that her pussy was positioned for perfect penetration. They’d made love enough to know what worked for them and what didn’t. Tank freed his hair from his ponytail and whispered into her ear. “Happy Valentine’s Day…”
“Uh huh,” she reached out and rubbed her clit. “Tank, please…”
She felt him position the bulbous head of his cock at her entrance. She wrapped her hand around his forearm. Tank had a way of taking the longest time possible to get to business or to say something. He wasn’t stupid, but very thorough in his thinking and in his actions—purposeful but right now she wanted immediate satisfaction.
In the flickering light of the Hogan, she whispered, “Take me, damn it.”
    And he did.
She cried out in pleasure when the fullness of him slammed into her so fast it took her breath. He penetrated much deeper than he ever had before, or so it seemed. What had gotten into him? Not that she was complaining, because it felt incredible. But Tank took her with such passion, she had to put her hands out to keep from slamming into the Hogan’s wall. The air mattress took all his momentum and doubled it, so the bed pitched and rolled from his actions.
“Tank!” she cried, pleasure spilling through with each deep thrust. “Damn!”
She met his thrusts, pushing back to his forward movement. They’d made love like this before, but not on an air mattress. Somehow, the Hogan, the candles, the shadows, the mixed scent of vanilla, sex, earth and pellets, all made their lovemaking more enticing, more vivid—alive.
Tank seemed to feel it too, because he growled out Navajo words of love and devotion from what she could make out. Groaning and moaning melded in a music that was all theirs. Behind her, Tank’s thrusts slowed and he cupped her breast. Pinching her nipple, Tank also nibbled on her ear, again rendering her to nothing but wet want and sensual sensations. God, she loved this man!
In and out, the slow torment made her curl her toes. Every deliberate thrust pushed her closer to climax. Her stomach tightened, and her muscles tensed in preparation of the orgasmic blast Tank gave to her. Behind her, he murmured something, the words muffled against her hair. It didn’t matter. She heard him loud and clear.
He spoke with his body, his hands, his mouth, and his spirit. They all declared his love and devotion, and Lee willingly accepted.
In that moment of openness and acceptance, her orgasm exploded, setting off a series of shrieks and shudders. Tank continued making love to her, holding her as she rode out wave after wave of delicious pleasure. In minutes, her skin began to cool and her blood slowed in her veins, but not before Tank bit into her shoulder as he reached his pinnacle. Her body reacted to him like it always did—with glee. Her inner walls massaged his cock, milking it and making him shudder.
Spent, Tank held her close to him. His panting slowly returned to normal.
    “I love you,” Lee said.
    “And I you.”
Then she remembered. She got up and crossed the Hogan to the coats. She picked up the thin gift box and brought it to him.
    “Happy Valentine’s Day,” she said.
“So we’re exchanging those kinds of gifts now?” Tank said, making her smile.
    “Just open it.”
He cracked open the gift box. His eyes widened and Lee’s heart warmed at the look on his face. “Surprise.”
    “This is fantastic. Zuni?”
    “Yes.”
“Thank you.” He kissed her cheek and fingered the necklace now lying
